Using Light in Research and Healing: From June 19-21, 2012, All Events in Jena Will Revolve around Biophotonics
Optical technologies play a crucial role in solving the medical and social problems of our aging society. Today, many light-based methods are used in everyday clinical life. More than 200 experts from around the world will be discussing the goals achieved in biophotonics as well as the prerequisites for future advances in Jena from June 18-22, 2012.
ICOB2012 – A Success Story in German Research Funding Sets the International Benchmark
Over 150 partners, around 220 million euros in investments and funding, several prototypes and products – this is the proud result of ten years of biophotonics funding in Germany. This success has send out rays within Europe and the whole world. The international community of specialists can assure itself in June when the third congress on biophotonics will take place in Jena – for the first time on European soil.
IPHT to Host the Prominent International Congress on Biophotonics in Jena
Together with the major German and international biophotonics networks, scientists at the Institute of Photonic Technology (IPHT) will be organizing the third International Congress on Biophotonics this coming year.
